Helping Customers Find What They Want
So much of your site is now optimised to within an inch of its life: your navigation, search, filters, sort options – all optimised. But “I couldn’t find what I was looking for” is still, for most retailers, a major complaint from shoppers, one that doubtless makes everyone wince. First: assuming that the product was in fact there to find, something must have gone wrong, and that’s going to upset someone on the ecommerce side. Second, further up the food chain, someone else sees a
revenue figure lower than it needed to be, whether they knew it or not. If they knew, they’d likely be upset too.
